Built in Alberta. Built on Experience
Driven by curiosity and built on purpose, this is where bold thinking meets thoughtful execution. Let’s create something meaningful together.
From two welders to a full-service contractor
Dunwald & Fleming began in 1978 when Marvin Dunwald and Doug Fleming set out as two welders looking to build something of their own.
Nearly 50 years later, we're a trusted, multi-generational name in Alberta's construction industry. After successfully transitioning the company to the next generation, we are proud of the team we have built and kept over nearly 5 decades of operations.

Responsible Work. Built Into Every Project
Safety is not a box to check. It is part of how we plan, lead, and execute every project. From experienced supervision and well-maintained equipment to clear procedures and accountable crews, we work to protect our people, clients, communities, and surrounding infrastructure.
Our responsibility extends beyond the immediate jobsite. Through careful planning, responsible material handling, remediation, and reclamation expertise, we work to minimize environmental impact and leave sites safe, stable, and ready for what comes next.
